Patios, Paving & Decking

We're experienced in laying patios and paving, whether it's a path, driveway or a patio we work with a variety of materials including block paving, concrete/reconstituted stone paving slabs or natural stone products.

We have many years experience of working with these products and can advise you of the best products to use in your garden depending on the site conditions and the use required and of course your budget.

If you don't like stone/paving or have an awkward or sloping garden then decking is a good alternative.

We are experienced in building decks for a range of situations from simple decks on ground level or multi-level decks that deal with sloping sites.

Decking doesn't have to be boring and square, we can build curved decking and insert lighting into decks to create added interest. The majority of decks we build are of treated softwood, although we can build decks with other timber including Western Red Cedar or Ipe.

Our preference is not to use timber spindles on balustrades surrounding the decks we build as we feel that they enclose a space and obscure the view of your garden, so we tend to use other types of balustrades including stainless steel wires, as used on yacht rigging or glass panels set in between the newell posts. However, if you prefer traditional timber spindles, then we are happy to accommodate, after all it's your garden and we want you to be happy with the product after we leave.
